DAD dancing fever is gripping the nation thanks to Prince William and his outrageous moves – and now The Sun on Sunday has run a contest to find Britain’s funkiest father.
We challenged four ordinary Brits to go head-to-head and prove they could boogie down better than the 34-year-old royal did at an exclusive club in Verbier.
And the toe curling performances were rated by former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips, who says Wills’ dancing was not as bad as his critics assume…
She said: “He kept in time with the music. I’d give him eight out of ten.”
Fire service work Mark Jelbert, 47, of Teddington, dancing to And The Beat Goes On by The Whispers
Arlene says: “I adored this man. So bad he was good. He was doing Saturday Night Fever, he was twerking. Enjoyed his moves. He was my winner.”

Car valet Gareth Hughes, 35, from Chester, dancing to I Got 5 On It by Luniz
Arlene says: “Looked to be from the Prince William school of dance! He was waving his arms around like he was at a rave with 4,000 other people.”
7/10
Ex-bouncer Craig Valberg, 44, from Milton Keynes, dancing to Instant Replay by Dan Hartman
Arlene says: “Craig was the sad dancer for me — he looked as if he was conducting an orchestra. His performance had very little to do with dance, I’m afraid.”
5/10
Model and actor David Markov, 32, from London, dancing to Billie Jean by Michael Jackson
Arlene says: “My mad dancer. Feet glued to ground barely moved. He was upper body only. Didn’t seem to realise dancing usually involves footwork.”
